I moved around a lot as a student and moving a bed is no easy task. Especially when your room is around a tight corner at the top of a staircase. I decided I needed a bed that would be easy to take with me. I arrived at this simple design of thirds, complete with matching nightstand and room for storage bins beneath. The three units can be arranged in any order and are easily transported by one person.

After five years of loyal service, the Thirds Bed was recommissioned as a set of shelves.
