The Imaginarium was installed in the subterranean End Station III facility of the Hansen Experimental Physics Laboratory (HEPL) on the Stanford campus from December 2010 – June 2012. During this time it hosted research trials, working meetings, prototyping sessions, artistic performances and dozens of demonstrations. The hemispherical projection system was perfected here through several prototype iterations, including the exterior “tripods” that serve as mounting points to suspend the projector within.
