The unit square was designed from scratch as a personal storage unit. It incorporates seven specially-sized storage compartments in the top, two roll-out bins in the bottom, and two table surfaces (one convertible). When fully assembled the profile is a perfect square. The unit square was built by hand from a single used shipping crate.
